arcasys stands for cash register systems (arca latin the cash box).

I founded this business when I realized that small retailers and restaurants often don't have the knowledge or the budget for a modern cash register system fitting their needs. Commercial systems are expensive or hard to customize or they are singularities among other IT systems in use, or they are simply ugly.

arcasys therefore engages in the development of license free and open source software. Thus we are able to deliver good and individual solutions and services at reasonable prices.
